We’ve seen this sign in little strip malls we drive by in our travels throughout the state, and one day while walking in a blizzard, we realized that the grape vine was an ampersand. I think the clip art grapes just made me overlook this one.

“Here’s our new sign; pretty sharp and classy, eh? Joey C. sure knows how to make signs. Now, when he showed it to me at first, the ampersand was just this solid black. And I says, ‘Hey Joey, what’s with that!?!’ He says that this font didn't have an ampersand, so he had to use one from another font from his computers. So I says ‘What! I NEED an ampersand, and, I NEED it to match the D and the W, or I’m walking out to my truck to get my baseball bat to ‘practice swinging’, you know what I mean.’ So here's what he does, a really great guy he is; he had his nephew CREATE a custom ampersand, just for us, at get this, no charge! His sister’s kid is pretty good on the interwebs and now he'll have his work all around the city. Ampersands show we got class and besides otherwise it looks like our company’s name is DandW. Hey, did Dinelli make his monthly payment to us yet? Go pay him visit over lunch, will ya? And take your own bat this time. Hmmm . . . inlines sure show we got class.”
